Metro 2033 (PC Digital Download) $3 (expired)

This is the low price yet for this game. I bought it a 6 months ago via $5 Amazon sale but still have yet to actually play it. I heard it's pretty good.

Pretty sure I will forget about this while watching football tomorrow... Hopefully I won't though. Good price!

it's a very well put together story fps shooter mixed with survival horror. you use your bullets as currency so there's not a lot to go around. the underground atmosphere and mutants look great.

one word of warning....

i've bought a crap ton of games since i built my pc rig last january (quad core phenom, 8gb ram, nvidia 460 gpu) and out of all them THIS game makes it chug the most. i mean for reals, there was practically smoke coming out. your computer WILL get very hot running this so have a good rig or be prepared to dial down your settings.

Unless you already own several of the games or have no interest in them, the THQ 5-Pack on the front page from yesterday is probably the better deal. 5 games including Metro 2033 for $9 and change.

This is true.

But personally, I own or have no interest in those other games.. But ever since I played a bit of Metro 2033 on a friend's PC I've been waiting for the price to come down, and I don't think it'll get any lower than this. Awesome game, and absolutely top-notch graphics.
