Some quick caveats - you have to freeze the bananas for at least 24 hours beforehand, and you have to let them thaw about 10 minutes first. Also, you have to freeze only extremely ripe bananas (green ones will apparently have a gummy texture and an off taste). I've had times where I've ran out of bananas and it's too bad you can't just throw quickly frozen bananas in there.
Supposedly you can make this same banana "ice cream" with a blender or food processor, but I hear the taste isn't quite as good. I think the special blade inside the Yonanas is the secret. It's definitely a deal at $30 if you like bananas or ice cream or have kids.

2 bananas to 1/2 to 1 cup of milk is the ratio I use. You can use any kind of milk (including soy, almond or rice.)
