What is a pillow case compared to a pillow sham?

I beleive the pillow case is the regular case you put around your pillows. The pillow sham has an extra frill which goes around the sides for decoration. Im a guy in his 20's so I might be wrong!

There is nothing wrong with microfiber!

I sell fabric for a living and microfiber is actually known for it's easy clean-ability. The only downside to microfiber is that it may collect cat/dog hair easier than a linen for example. Some microfibers will also show finger marks when touched but these bedspreads do not look like they would have the fingerprint issue since they have a pattern (that issue is most noticeable with solid microfibers).

Also polyester is a great material. It is one of the more durable fabrics. So a microfiber/poly blend bed is not bad. Some people are just funny

microfiber is uncomfortable. Have you ever used a microfiber cleaing cloth? Kinda like sleeping on one of the cleaning cloths only slightly smoother. Feels like velcro made for human skin!

Microfiber is extremely soft and is in fact one of the softest materials available!!! I think you are thinking of a different type of material... Cleaning cloth would be a different type of microfiber material and would not be the same as what is on this bedspread. Maybe you put the microfiber through the wash to many times or spilled something funky on it if it felt like velcro???

Like I said earlier I sell fabrics for a living (I'm interior design for an upholstery shop) and microfibers that would go on furniture and bedspreads. Let me tell you I have never seen a microfiber material like you are explaining, not even ones we are taking off of furniture to be reupholstered which are 10+ years old.
