Torchlight II is indeed very good.

For the uninitiated, it is a Diablo clone (made by some of the original team). Oh, and it's fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.

The coupon has been around for awhile so you are probably safe. If you guys liked the original, then you'll love the sequel. More of the same without trying to be a new religion. I also left D3 after a (seemingly) short while. Certainly shorter than the amount of time I waited for it to be released!

My girlfriend and I have played perhaps four video games of any type in the last decade. We played Diablo 2 for years together, and we eagerly waited for Diablo 3, checking fan sites religiously and following the news. Unfortunately, we quit in about a month's time. We honestly believe that the implementation of the auction house killed the game. I will note that when the auction house was first announced, I wasn't as against it as the tens of thousands of people online who slammed Blizzard for it. I thought that with an auction house, at least Blizzard would need to make the game even better and have higher security. It turns out the development team released highly-randomized items instead, as they would keep the auction house afloat. This hurt gameplay and made the game less fun, in my opinion.

Apparently I had used this exact code a while back for a different game. It wouldn't let me use it again on the same account, creating a new one works fine (no cookies to worry about or anything).

Played this last night. It was very good IMO. If I were to compare, i would compare this with D2 and not D3. The story, the theme, and gameplay are D2 clone. The graphic is definitely much better compare to D2 of course.

Won't Torchlight 2's online multiplayer be rampant with cheating, since the character files are kept offline? I'm pretty sure I can hack my char quite easily if I wanted to if that was the case, if I were interested in that sort of thing that is.

Thumbs up but even at the full asking price of $19.99 this game is a hot deal.
