1. They fit my ears. Only other ones that do are e2c's with foam, those suck for running
2. Ink'd are low enough profile to pull my motorcycle helmet over.
When I am running or riding these sound fine. At my desk I can wear grados.
the aviator and its variance is probable the only thing i would buy from them in the future.
and i have bought a number of their crappy earphones, normally because i need something on travel and best buy just happens to have skull candy.
I will probably pick these up [ebay.com] in a few weeks with some of my ebay bucks. Good ratings at buy.com [buy.com] and super cheap
For ear buds, he prefers the kind with the same shape as apple, not the post kind. With in-line volume control. I got him a pair of Sony MDR-E829V. He thought they were fine, not terrific, but they only last about 3 weeks past the 90 day warranty. He only wears them for about an hour a day, so I am not impressed with their durability.
He is also looking at buying his first on-ear headphones. He is looking at the Ludacris Soul SL150 - of course mainly for what a 13 yo considers coolness. Even though they are over-ear (or is it around ear?) instead of on-ear, they are not as "suctiony" as some brands to him. I think that is way too much to spend on headphones, especially when they will be tossed in his backpack for the bus ride home.
I thought the skullcandy shakedown looked alright, especially for the price - its on-ear which he would like, but no in-line volume control.
Can anyone help steer me to something he would like for ear buds and headphone?
Thank you very much!

Thanks bought two pair of the ones you recommended, noticed a lot had been sold so must be good lol. Also grab a yellow pair of jibs. Headphones make me sweat a lot around the cushions. Hope these are better. I share headphones n buds with my kids. I have trouble finding the right buds, hard to get into my small ears- plus with my Tragus hoops.
I've used Inkd and been happy with their comfort and sound, but if there's a pair of $10 in-ears that sound much better than these, lead me to them.

These vibes are only part of the Ebay deal of the day today. Will probably go back up in price after today past the $10 range but right now they're only $6.95 + FS.
I use at the gym and they rarely ever fall out... usually they only come out if I snag the cord on a weight.
I also use them when I ride my motorcycle and they fit great with my helmet on with no discomfort. Plus they do a great job of cancelling out some of the background noise.
I also recently purchased the Munito 9mm buds on the $15 and I feel while these are nice i prefer the smokin buds sound quality over them because of the added bass.
I got some Jib buds on a staples FAR deal, and they were better than $5 no-name brands I tried from a discount outlet.
these prices seem good.
