Wow they're back in the Twin Cities. These guys shut down all their branches and they're back in Bloomington and Roseville. This alone is good news.

Fantastic - I was just about to order a crapload of stuff at Cost Plus World Market on Oct 6th, with my Discover Card which gives 5% online for the next 90 days AND an extra 2% on that very day...

Do they still ever have the 40% Friends and Family there? I remember 10 years ago, they did 40% every now and then... It was awesome!

Are Marmite and Vegemite considered gourmet? If so, then I'll pass. The only place near me where I can find them and other foreign foods, but World Market is a quite expensive place, even if the 25% off would apply.

world market is not that expensive, at least their furniture. I find it to be well priced, extremely well made, and great looking. I'm in the market for a new dining room table, this should help out! Thanks OP!

Actually, most, if not all, of their furniture is veneer and not solid wood. So yeah, they look cool but there is no quality. Just got a whole desk and bookshelf set and there were screws missing, drill holes and wood pieces that weren't lined up properly - a mess...

They were never top notch to begin with but they have gone downhill a LOT in the past few years.

I buy them for the style, knowing full well that their furniture won't last for more than a few years.

What is funny (but good for us) is that they keep the negative product reviews up on their website - most other resellers remove those.
