New on Amazon as of today = $969 - 2% amazon cashback = $950 (+ tax if your state has it)
Lens on refurb store: $919.20 + 7% tax = $983(http://shop.usa.canon.com/webapp/..._263354_-1)
When 20% discount is in effect: $919 - 20% + 7% = $799.53
Used version of this lens on various forums depending on how old/condition = $700-850

So getting an unused copy for $700 is going to have to be a slickdeal. I'm not saying there may not be such deals around, but if you want this lens for $700 then I would highly recommend looking over Sell sections of photography forums.

I don't really expect anyone on this site to sell me a lens for $700. Everybody here buys low and sells high.

So, I can confirm there is an invoice in the box with the camera that doesn't mention ebay, and shows the camera and printer as distinct line items (not a combo purchase). So, all should be good on the rebate front.

Mine mentions three lines:


- <code, quantity > Canon Pixma ... mail in rebate with select SLRs.. -$400
- <code, quantity> Canon eos 5d mark II and Pro 9000
- <code, quantity> EOS 5d mark II21.1..... with EF24-105...Lens

Yes, two separate Canon USA warranty cards for the body and the lens.

looks like you're fine...they're on the same receipt, but not a bundle. Just what Canon asked for.

Did anyone else receive a camera and no printer? I think it is a shipping issue where they shipped separately and I didn't receive the printer.. working it out now. But wondering if anyone else had this issue. I received the invoice shown earlier in this thread with separate items listed, but the printer was circled by hand in ink for some reason.
