I'm not sure, this is pretty sweet. Historically, I've seen lower end models on deep discounts for BF, not high end products such as these.

I had the submit order page open for about an hour, finally talked to a friend, and submitted while he talked about what a sweet deal he thought this was. Lol.

I like that the MB doesn't have any legacy ports or slots on it. The cover and fan seems like a bad idea though. I like to see my components so I can see if they have failed. Will have to check the reviews once I get a moment.

also, do you think new egg would price match this?? i need to get some ddr3 to match..

The covers are there to help cooling - something chipsets should have done years ago!

This looks great but I might not really utilize a new build until December. Im debating picking this up to replace my old x4 athlon and crappy mobo, and pick up an ssd as well as a better gpu and case in the future? Should I do it or wait?

Damn, their US warehouse is California based, so 7.25% tax for CA residents. So tempted though.

If you're not in a rush you may want to wait for those Black Friday deals, and check if you have a Microcenter nearby because they have amazing processor prices. If you don't need this particular motherboard you may get a better deal there, it's overkill for most systems.

Excellent, thank you OP! I've had these 2 items in my Amazon card for over a month waiting for a good deal to come along. Lowest it got was $450 -- so saving almost $100 is music to my ears!

Ill take your advice and wait. I probably will never need such an expensive mobo, but it does seen high quality and I usually only buy high quality stuff. This will be my second build, but will be the first time I plan on overclocking. Im not going to do anything major, but plan on ocing the cpu, 7970 or 7950 depending on which one has the best deal and maybe memory.

I wont be breaking any records, I guess the best way to put it is moderate overclocking.
