Anyone who is hesitating on spending the $2 for Wool Omnibus (Wool 1-5) can purchase Wool 1 for free to "try it out". Wool 1 is a quick read and will give you a good feel for the whole series. Then if you like it, purchase Omnibus and finish out the series with Wool 2-5. Don't know how long sale price will be $1.99 though.

My attempt at a short description:
Wool is a post-apocalyptic, light sci-fi story focused on a society living in an underground silo.
It's a dystopian future kind of like The Hunger Games, but different..

I, as an avid science fiction reader, recommend this book. If you don't like sci-fi you might not enjoy it as much. I wouldn't compare it to "the hunger games" at all though. This book actually ends well...
Good description on wikipedia, didn't see any spoilers. I check Kindle daily deal first thing each morning and bought this based on reviews even though I'd never heard of it before. Seems easily worth 2 bucks.
