Looks like a great deal for a chip that has very good price:performance. Perfect for a HTPC or even budget low-range gaming computer, paired up with an inexpensive gfx card like a gtx 460 or radeon 7770. Edit: I forgot to mention that the low wattage makes is a great energy-saver as well. The only caveat I see is TigerDirect - I've had good experiences with them, but I know on these forums a lot of people have had problems with them honoring deals.

picked one up for a budget gaming rig, hopefully i can get the extra 5% cash back using discover online shopping this quarter plus 5 % from upromise website making 10% cashback. pretty good deal, now i just need a decent motherboard for around $50-80.

yes and it works well for HD movies and such. I wouldn't use for anything but old games.

been running this on my WHS 2011 server. runs great and low power consumption. i'm using an adaptec 6805 raid card with 8x 2TB seagate baracuda greens. during transfer, kill-a-watt says 110W. the cpu is more than capable. i bought this a few months ago at $90 so for this price, it's a good deal.

this is huge. if i hadn't just built an i5 3570 rig, I would be buying this right now. hackintosh-ready, low power, incredible price.
