agreed about not being able to please everyone. i've been in the market for a new controller since the ones i've had for the last 2-3 years have been worn due to stressful sports gaming with less skilled gamers i call "stick + button mashing" friends.

i need a few good reasons to shell out 59 bucks for a controller i could differentiate easily from my 3 existing dual shocks. would have preferred a camo or blue one. but red does the job just fine.

and i'm glad this deal at least made it to the Popular Deals. i wouldn't have discovered it otherwise. FP worthy especially given the other new bundles with similar price.

I believe the free month of PS+ makes this FP worthy despite being MSRP. The Infamous 1+2, Ratchet and Clank, and Kill Zone 3 Bundles may not be since they don't have the PS+ bonus.

Looks like Sony took a page out of Microsoft with their free month of Xbox Live packaged with certain games. Maybe Xbox can get smart and put out Controllers with game bundles like this too.

Wow, great deal. I can send in my copy of Origins and 3 to Amazon for $18 to make it ~$40 for 5 games and a controller. I love the cover art too.

Don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but Origins collection is downloadable and not on a disc. That's kinda annoying to me...but whatever. Might be a plus to others.

kz3 isn't a gears knockoff. kz came out years before, is a different style of game and the similarities they have are fleeting at best (both are bro-shooters, that's about it.)

got this deal last year from gamestop for 60. but i think it was without the latest game. great deal, but i returned it for mw3 instead.

I needed a new controller since the trigger on my current one was getting loose. I wanted the Urban Camouflage one but the combo pack comes with KZ3 instead of Killzone Trilogy, so I just bought the controller by itself from Newegg for $43 w/o tax. They also have the Black and Blue controllers for $39.99.

where can i hear about this? i signed for swagbucks when i saw it on Slickdeals as an easy way to get points for wasting my time on the net but got frustrated because i would complete offers and never get the points so i stopped logging in about 40 SB or so


if i knew they would look into your history i would have never signed up. im not even taking Origin's offer of free games to get me to install thier gaming client. knowing that i gave away any part of my computer info for 4 cents has me beyond livid right now.

plus the fact that i saw this swagbucks stuff on slickdeals kinda has me pissed off too because i wish i known this earlier. now i have to treat everything i see on this website with caution
