so is it worth it to me to pay the extra $0.20 to save over an hour of time driving and the wear on my car? absolutely. however, YMMV
Unfortunately the fan design is a bit noisy for home-theater PC purists, the full-casrd height limits installation options, and the lack of DisplayPort takes limits some of the functionality available from AMD graphics cards.
Good luck!

edit - just reported lower price to Amazon - if enough of us do it, maybe they'll price match!
It plays 2009 games at 720p at medium or high detail. Namely Left 4 dead 2, Team fortress 2, etc. The DDR3 on this card makes it about 40% slower than the DDR5 version, depending on game.
This card is however, as Harley said, the ideal HTPC card. Can deinterlace 1080i using vector adaptive while denoise, contrast enahance, mosquito, etc. I own this card, I paid $40 AMIR I want to say in March or april at newegg. Great, extremely quiet, huge HSF card. Not for gaming unless you play th eones above at less than 1080p. But great for HTPC use!
29.99 + 5.99 s/h + 4.48 tax = $40.46
