Does that mean this is not suitable for maintaining a regular car battery?
And honestly 3A is what you would ultimately want to charge a dead battery at....its like BBQ, low and slow gives the best results. Its also a lot better for the battery than fast charging.
I have an ancient Sears battery charger with 2/10A charge and 50A start settings. If Im not trying to jump start something outright, I only use 2A and let it charge for a while. If the battery still doesnt respond after a couple days under 2A charge, its pretty much a sure thing that its dead.
