looks like only Chase has 2% (was 5%)
I have a Patriot 8GB that I got a few years ago for $7.99, and I normally get around 7MB/s-9MB/s write speed, with the average around 8.5MB/s. And the Read Speed is usually around 20MB/s-26MB/s, and averages out around 23MB/s. Those speeds are on USB 3.0.
Strangely enough, when I test it on my USB 2.0 ports, I normally get around 8MB/s-9MB/s write speed, and average around 8.9MB/s, while on read speed I get 30MB/s-35MB/s and average out around 32MB/s.
Not sure why I see better results on USB 2.0...I always figured it's that the device wasn't made compatible with USB 3.0 ports, so it kind of doesn't work well with them. My guess anyway.
But will this USB Drive see around the same results, or better?
I'm interested in buying, but not unless I will see at least around 8MB/s write, and 20MB/s read, at least.
From reading the Newegg page I do see that it says "20MB/s Read Speed", but I don't see anything about the write speed.
Just used a couple of my friends now and again, and I see a lot of them around 4MB/s write speed, which is a tad slow for my liking. These were all different brands though, none of them Patriot.
