I've used Plantronics very similar to these on Xbox before. They're fairly comfortable and the sound absolutely obliterates MS' garbage OEM headsets. I picked up mine for $1 each via SD/ebay, so $4 is pretty pricey to me.

If you want a lightweight and cheap headset that's comfortable for all day use, check out the Plantronics MX500 or MX 505.

I have a home VOIP Phone that is old and only has a 2.5mm jack. With this 2.5mm adapter it should work, right?

This is a 2.5mm headset with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. If your VOIP system has a 2.5mm jack it should work without needing the adapter.
