i ordered black ops II, my only concern is..... will i receive it on the day it is released, or will it be shipped that day? no answer back from newegg on chat, or email.....

You will receive it after release, like around 3 days after. If you want it on release day, go buy it full price locally. Then when you receive your order, take the Newegg disc to the store for a refund.

Am I missing something on "The Walking Dead"? "The Walking Dead" has 5 episodes and retails for $30. The link points to a game that retails for $60 and isn't released until 12/31/2013.

Great deal for sure. For those with no tax on Amazon and/or Prime, Amazon has it for $59 with $10 credit. Might be cheaper for those with no taxes unlike California.

I pre-ordered Doom 3: BFG edition from Newegg and got it the day after it was released.

Yeah if someone can get the code to work for a second seperate order let me know. OP you probably should add "The Last of Us" to the featured games as it will be the biggest PS3 exclusive next year.

I pre-ordered Medal of Honor, game shipped on Monday, got it on Tuesday when it was released. I live in MD though and the game came from NJ so that may have helped with the quick shipping.

As for the 'pre- order game, buy at store and return pre-ordered game' method, someone in the last Newegg pre-order thread tried this and they got stuck with two games. Not saying it won't work cause it sounds like it did for some people but just wanted to let you know.
