If you are seeking accurate point A to point B movement, look else where until the manufacturer corrects the hardware or ROM. Otherwise the accel curve is within 5% of its linear range.

- Low cost solution. This sensor is meant to fit the price point gaps in the lower end range of mice.

- The sensor is very weak. I would personally rate this as a 1000 CPI sensor at best. Tracking quality becomes easily distorted at early CPI steps due to a very small image array pushing a mere 2.4 megapixels a second.

- Lift off distance varies by surface, circuit design, LED, and if desired, specific parameters set via firmware. Based on the way light refracts off the manufacturers official lens, the lift off distance is typically at least 3mm on a darker surface assuming proper configuration in terms of compatibility and quality of the tracking.

- CPI isn't calculated on a 1:1 ratio. In reality, the 1000 CPI step follows the processing limitations of a 1250 CPI sensor. Max IPS is increased though.
