Hey guys,
The priced dropped on the Gigabyte Windforce 7950 to $280 after a $20 MIR and still gives you the game bundle. The rebate period ends today, as a heads up. Free two-day shipping with Shoprunner also.
There was a comparable FP $270 AR Sapphire 7950 a couple of weeks ago, and IMO, the Gigabyte card has a much better cooling system and is a better card in general for the extra $10.
Unopened video cards can be returned to Newegg without the 15% restocking fee, but you pay return shipping for a full refund for those of you thinking about BF and CM around the corner.
If I forgot to add anything, let me know and I'll update the thread.
Happy Hunting!

Edit: It does, add that to description/title.
Seems like a great deal. Just purchased one. Thanks OP.
There is only a 4% overall performance loss between PCIe 1.1 x16 and PCIe 3.0 x16 [techpowerup.com] for an HD7970 on a Core i7-3770K @ 4.7ghz which is way faster than your CPU. If you play GPU demanding games and don't mind overclocking, HD7950 is a good card. Otherwise, you may want to save some $ and just get an HD7870 for $185 in the other thread.
I jumped on the earlier Sapphire deal and installed on my old PC. It runs smooth at the moment but isn't at optimal because the bus interface is 1.1!!!!. Yes it's not a very high end board. Waiting for my final pieces of the puzzle in order to fully utilize this card. Over all these cards are 'pretty'
I can wait a bit longer, not really playing anything until the next hitman games comes out anyway.
