Yeah, those are DVDs. This deal is for the Blu-ray set. I would bite, but too many, if not all, of these are on Netflix.

That is a great series. The Marcus Dupree episode was the best of the bunch.

I havent had good luck with 1saleaday... tempting but pass.

The perfect gift for a sports fan, no doubt about it.

Does this one on Amazon have all 30 of the films the 1Saleaday one does? The 1sad one has 6 discs and 30 shows, but the Amazon one has 6 discs but I am only seeing 15 shows on Vol. 1. Am I wrong?

They are continuing it currently on Tuesdays at 8pm on ESPN. I believe the next episode will be the 6th in the series. All of them have been fantastic once again.

The Amazon product linked is only for the first 15 of this set and is also on DVD as opposed to BluRay. Not really a comparable product, and not a particularly good deal.

Apologies. I missed that part. This is only half the set and that too DVD, but NOT BluRay.

I've actually been really disappointed with this season's episodes. A couple of them seemed like they were only loosely related to sports (i.e. the one about raising money to buy Naismith's original rules of basketball & the one about de-segregation at Ole Miss) and the only thing I took away from the Ben Johnson episode was that most people in track were using steroids during the 80's. IMO, they aren't nearly as interesting as season 1. This is definitely a great deal on season 1 and I'm in for one. I doubt I would buy the second season (after it is released) if the remaining episodes are like the first few they've shown.
