Macy's Printable Coupon: $10 off $25 for Sales & Clearance and Select Home Items (expired)

Only speaking from the experience of my local Macy's locations in Los Angeles...and the answer would be no. Only physical coupons. Plus lately, at least in my area, they have been told to collect the physical coupon. Even my long time cashiers who use to give me my coupon back can't anymore.

Most cashiers I have encountered also have a problem accepting these printable coupons. Unless I enlarge the barcode, which sometimes cuts off part of the coupon, it never seems to scan and they seem to be quite flustered as to know what to do. Even my longtime cashiers ask me if I have a newspaper or flyer coupon rather than printable.

FYI to all. I have found all Men's Champion brand items - from the lowest clearance priced t-shirt on up, to always be excluded from coupons. ALL coupons.

My wife and I just got from the Macy's in Westminster, Ca and they had buy one get one free purses. We got 2 fossil purses and 1 fossil side bag and 1 wallet for under 200.

Just made out like a bandit in Macys here in KC. Used the coupon 4 times, got 2 RL shirts, one was $125 got it for $19.99 and another one was $89 got it for $40. Used coupon and got another $10 off that. Then bought 4 RL pillows for $40 and $10 off. Then got another pillow and a Cunisart mixer that was $40 for $17 and another pillow for $10 and used the coupon again to get $10 off. Both cashiers gave me the coupons back so on the way out got a winter coat that was $149, on sale for $50, got another $10 off that again!! Used 2 registers and cashiers were happy to help. The one said she was not supposed to apply the coupon to the 1pm " specials" but did so anyway. Got out of there quick!!! Used the coupon printed in the paper and the one in the printed insert that came with the paper. Saw some great deals esp on the sale racks, check the prices there are more than %50 off.

Just got back from Macys. Coupon would not work on pretty much all the good sales items. Tried it on a set of dishes, luggage, the Waring toaster oven, Belgique skillet set. Sucks.

Basically I don't shop when this kind of $10 off $25 coupons comes every other week, because I always get $10 off $30 in mail and that coupon usually don't have as many exclusions as this coupon has.
But as you said I observed that they are now sending $20 off $50, but if you look closely this coupon has more advantage than $10 off coupon because you never shop $25 items it mostly go over $35 or $40 in total.
So if you shop $50 you would get $20 off in the end this is better deal with less exclusions.

Actually I still have last set of $10 off $30 coupon expiring on Nov 25th, I guess I would rather wait and use those coupons during BF. Better deal with less exclusions than this $10 off $25 one.
