But good price for a 5-yr warranty drive and price-matching until 12/24.

I know a lot of the excitement is for SSDs today, but this is a pretty decent price on a desktop drive. I'm planning on using this in a fusion drive ssd configuration for my Hackintosh.
And people, don't depend on Iron Egg. It was a hassle for me last year...
I submitted a price match last year on 11/26/11 against GameStop. They didn't reply back until 12/1/11, and then said "Your request for a price match cannot be processed because the item no longer available or existed on the competitor website."
After a few email exchanges regarding their own delay and the fact that Black Friday pricing doesn't stay that long, they refunded me the differences and told me "Please note there is only one price match per customer; only one price match per item, regardless of the amount of items purchased."
Just FYI. So, read the restrictions and exclusions. http://promotions.newegg.com/iron...index.html
from what I understand, pretty solid/fast hdd (great for booting if you don't have ssd) plus a 5yr warranty, but runs hotter than red/green drives (since those are power saving)
