I have a pair. I think they're pretty good. I did recently notice Newegg and Polk coming out with another series though. The Monitor series was replaced by the RTI series many years back, however Newegg just came out with a new monitor series.
Still a great pair of modern looking speakers though.
Fry's had the RTI12's on sale for $599/pair, and that includes a subwoofer and is a way better pair for just $100 more.
I understand the RTI12's would require a much stronger amp, but not taking that into consideration, wouldn't it be better to wait for Fry's to (hopefully) put the RTI12's back on sale?
