This unit does not have Amazon Instant Video app. It has Netflix, Vudu, Accuweather, Youtube and Picasa apps and that is it. No access to LG appstore to install more apps. Called LG customer service to see if there is any way to access the LG appstore and they said no. If the apps it comes with are sufficient for you, it is a great unit. - By a owner.
A pro is that the unit is quite compact and takes less of my entertainment center space. Con is remote too is very tiny and not too easy to handle.
SOLD OUT
Setting the remote to work your TV:
Hold down the TV POWER button, and press the appropriate numerical button, then release the TV POWER button.
LG = 1 or 2; Zenith = 1, 3, or 4; GoldStar = 1 or 2; Samsung = 6 or 7; Sony 8 or 9; Hitachi = 4.
These codes are all that are listed in the manual (online).
Still it is handy to be able to do the TV "volume (but not instant mute), power, channel change, and av input change" from this LG BD remote.
