My Setup:
Front - Monitor 70s
Rear - Monitor 60s
Center - CS2
Subwoofer (FL) - BIC F12
Subwoofer (RR) - Polk PSW505
Receiver - Denon AVR 590
= $962
Damn I spent more than a thought.
The M70 does sound a little "fuller" than the M60. I was just in a hurry to grab some floor speakers for some rears, so I went a little overboard with the 60s.
50s would have been overkill enough, but resale value wise, I think the 60s will be in more demand in the local market.
The port chuffing I get on my PSW505 might annoy some people, but it gets muffled by my sub being on carpet. The BIC F12 has a port specifically designed to minimize on port noise.

Was going to but I got beat out by about 5 minutes. Oh well... as long as everyone gets a killer home theater setup it's all good.
I'm lucky that I have a huge shelf on top of my entertainment center. However, making your TV stands work with CS2 can be a tedious task, and can make stuff look really out of place if you force it.
The CS1 matches the M60 in woofer size and won't cause pain in finding a way to fit it into a system.

That CS2 for $79.99 was the series I model I believe. Also, I think it was only the cherry and not black.
going to get the cs2 also for 99
Will be pairing these with the Denon 1712 I just picked up on clearance at Best Buy 2 days ago for $200. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!
Onkyo TX-SR608
Energy Take Classic speakers/sub woofer.
I just bought the Monitor 60s and the CS2 center ch. A few Q's
1) Is the Onkyo powerful enough for these speakers?
2) Should/can i leave my Energy Take sub and rear speakers?
3) What's a good (cheap) AVR for the Energy Take speakers, I want to put them in another room (but don't need a pricey AVR like my Onkyo was)
Thanks.
Seems like such a waste to RMA such a heavy item. Good thing for newegg UPS should flip the bill
