This is a 55" TV not a 46".....

How does this TV stack up with the better TV deals for black friday sales. $1000 no tax plus free shipping (and no waiting in line) seems like a good deal to me.

Would have been in for $999

but this whole 1000 thing... just seems so wrong to spend that much on a TV

I can but this has cold boot time similar to my rear projections days but this has no lamp to power on! Other than that it's a great TV for my bedroom.

And the other thing is bleeding and uneven lightning with LED.

I hate Plasma bc it give off so much heat.

Buy one of those 83" DLP or go with a projector...problem solved

Not really a fair comparison since once LCD tv size get larger, price exponentially increased. Fry has a similar deal for $499 or $599 for the combo last time. If you have to have both, best deal would be the $398 LG 3D TV + $60 LG 3D BD Player. With tax and everything, still less than $500.

I got this TV from the amazon PM very solid TV for the price and features. Picture quality is decent (I haven't calibrated it so it could be better), speakers were okay better then some of ultra slim leds ive heard, definetly some light bleed but actually has gotten better over time. I don't like 3D it looked good when I tested it out, but remember the tv needs to be eye level for you to get the full effect. Very slim, used netflix a couple times and it worked pretty good and has a good layout. I haven't used any of the other features though so can't coment on browsing. My room has fare amount of light and I don't notice the glare too often. Hope this helps I may jump on another one.

I bought this on Amazon last month for $1344, it's an AWESOME TV. The Real 3D is fantastic and far superior to the crappy rechargeable active glasses that give me a headache in 5 minutes. Great all around. The build in apps aren't all the great, but I have it hooked up to my HTPC.

Nabbed one. Passive 3D is a hugeeee plus for me. That and I like the look of that thin bezel

I'm curious how that 2D to 3D active conversion looks like as well.
