just got this e-mail from paypal this morning.
get $5 off (no minimum) your next purchase at jamba juice if you use PayPal as your form of payment. just to be clear, you do not need a paypal card to do this, only a PayPal account. what i did was i linked my phone number to my paypal account and set a PIN code, and you can check out at jamba juice using your phone number and PIN code.

update 3:30 pm 11/27 - NOT DEAD. I just added it to my account. Plenty of valid locations near me (San Francisco/Oakland/Emeryville/Berkeley, etc)
Q: Does it say "no participating stores" for everyone? I'm in Los Angeles with Jambas everywhere.

Here are some guesses of what's going on. Somehow that webpage figure out your location based on your IP address or something. If you are using your cellphone or web browsers that they can't figure out your location. Or if you are connected to a network (VPN, work, etc) that they can't figure out your right location, you may have problem adding the $5 go your account. and getting this kind of error message.

The PayPal payment card is not a credit card, it is a store-only spending card linked directly to your PayPal account, so it can't be used online or as a credit card, it can only be used at participating stores. You do not need the PayPal payment card to complete in-store checkout activation. We will automatically mail it to your home address 1-2 weeks after you activate in-store checkout.
