Thanks OP & Rep'd
Doesn't look like it.
2 trucks for $20
They also have these Little Tikes Dump truck and front loader bundle. Same ones as the ones in the Black friday ad in store. Were hard to find since our Walmart had just a few. Rather large in size, sturdy plastic for outside play and inside.

and they price matched these to Toys R Us BF ad, all out at our TRU so ordered them from Walmart instead.
When you get it to work properly though, the set is very cool. If you drive it into the lowered elevator, the stop sign acts as a release and sends the thing up. When you get to the top, the other end of the elevator has a stop that prevents the truck from driving off the end and it is weighted properly so that the entire arm will fall just enough to get to the bottom and latch itself back down. The truck itself must have a fairly strong motor since it goes over most small bumps so it makes a decent toy by itself.
I'd say that in order for it to not be a total frustration with the remote, I'd shoot for ages 5+, but at that point they are probably on the verge of outgrowing the whole setup.
We rotate our bigger toys in and out and he'll still play with this a little when we get it out, but generally he'll push the truck around when playing with the set or drive the truck with the remote separately. For $24 I'd probably buy the set again but with the understanding that the remote keeps this from being a huge hit.
