Not great, but it is the best one going (I searched for weeks now).
Reviews are great on Amazon.....70+ reviews, average is 4.5 stars
Includes wheel package (normally $50).
I paid zero tax in VA.
I've been waiting for a good deal (delivered) on these for over a month.
BF had them for $297, but that deal was B&M pickup only.

good price though, might look into muffling it more than stock.

Actually, these champions are some of the quietest generators in their size class. The only thing better would be a honda at 8X the cost.

It accepts either free shipping code or $20 off.
Anyway to stack them?
Thanks

Anyone here have good knowledge of what it takes to tie this up to your electric box (or other ways). Would love to be able to run the furnace in the winter if the power goes out...
For what its worth, I had a 2500w(3k max) Honda generator for 11 years. It was great. My only beef with it was that voltage dropped quite a bit as load went up. My microwave would not work with it unless it was at 50% duty (about 1000watts). Anyway, I sold it for $425, and turned around and bought this one. Had cash left over for other toys.

This is actually better than the BF deal if you live in a state that they don't charge tax.
BF was $297 but B&M only meaning you get charged tax (~$25) when you went to buy it. I picked up this deal a few days ago, and with the $20 off coupon it came to a total of $309 shipped. It's now cheaper + you don't have to find a local store, deal with the crowds of people and lug it home
Oh and in addition to the wheel kit, it also includes a PVC cover ($25 normally). Seems like a good deal, I picked one up

This site does have champion and generic brands. Not sure if they will work OK out during winter / snow.

I have this and it comes with a cover included. Not sure if you are looking for a more heavy duty one though, but i think the one that it comes with will suffice for most conditions.
