Can the cooling rack be used during the baking process as well? For example, I found a recipe to bake wings and it called for a rack but I can't seem to find a rack other than cooling racks.

It is nonstick coated (which can sometimes be an issue over 450 like the pans themselves), so I would say it depends on your recipe. I know some really crank up the heat in an attempt to recreate that deep fried effect.

Careful with nonstick..it. breaks down at higher temperature and releases toxins (it kills birds and other small pets like guinea pigs). There are made in USA steel ones. Chicago and others.

Good luck finding that info! I can't. I'd assume it's Teflon.

This problem takes on a new form if you have cookies that stick to the sheet (if you don't use parchment paper), as you'll be scraping them up, along with the coating.

It's not a question of whether the material causes cancer, it's a question of how much toxic material you're willing to consume relative to the price of the product. In this case it's a 3 for $15 special.
