no kidding. i took the bait and ordered men's journal a while back for 5/yr.. what a waste of 5 bucks. occasionally they have a decent article on something but mostly its bs

All the trolls and haters come out for the better deals, I've noticed. Thank you for posting this, as I have a family of readers and many of the mags on special are very good and loaded with content.

I saw the same thing in grade school. The students that had nothing to contribute would talk loudly, make fart noises, throw tantrums, or pee themselves. That what I think of whenever I see someone pop into a popular thread with not vested interest in what's going on, leaves their nonsense comment or opinion, then leaves. It's the same as a 7 year old pooping their pants so someone will talk to them.

The reality is somewhere in between. Count the number of pages of real, useful content of your favorite magazine vs. the number of pages with ads. Your 30 minute TV show only has 21-22 minutes of real content, and the 60 minuters, in the 40s.

Why are there never any gaming mags on these sites?

Just depends on the magazine...check the magazine website or contact cs at the magazine you're interested in and ask if it's included with the paper subscription or if there's an extra charge.

It depends on the magazine. Some give out free e subscriptions, some charge extra and some don't even have it as an option. You'd have to check with the publisher of each magazine you are interested in.

The only reason I know that is because I got a deal alert for "thank you" (meant for citi points). Anyone have any experience with the golfing magazines. I was thinking of getting one for my dad for next year. Out of Golf digest, golf weekly and golf tips does anyone prefer one?

I got this email and was excited because the first magazine shown in the bundle in the graphic is CLEARLY Reader's Digest, and I've been keeping my eye out for a deal on that magazine. Then I followed the link, and Reader's Digest isn't one of the offerings! WTH? Oh well.
