Nice... I got crazy lucky and they shipped mine with ShopRunner on the FP deal and I only paid $17.99. Just got it yesterday and both the travel press and 8 cup press are very nice.

Is this a limited time deal/is there a date that the price will go up?

thanks! I got mine from the drugstore.com but they didn't do a good job with packaging so the glass press had a huge crack. returning now and bought this.

Not sure if this one is going to be similar in quality, but I do already have one of the insulated travel presses from Bodum. As far as the filter goes, need to make sure to leave it very coarsely ground and it works fine. It definitely wont catch anything with pre-ground drip coffee. Hoping that may be the cause of some of the crappy reviews. The travel press I already have also comes with a regular top too, not sure if this one does.

It wasn't supposed to let me use SR. It showed me paying shipping when I checked out but didn't end up charging it when it shipped.

The travel press isn't that bad. I have one and use it frequently. But in the Maryland winter, coffee only stays hot for ~30 minutes. I picked up one of their vacuum insulated stainless travel presses for BF to keep the coffee hotter for longer. Can't wait for Christmas to use it.

I bought these when they were $30 - they make good classy but affordable Christmas presents.

TU. Not quite the deal it was at drugstore w/ shopdiscover, etc..., but still a very good one.

So what's the consensus, folks; are THESE presses any good?
I purchased the plastic one a few months ago... and it went in the trash bin after the first cup of coffee.
Very time consuming, terrible coffee, grinds in the 'joe'. I used my regular machine to make a cup of joe and it was perfect. I had a coffee, once, that was made in an old French Press and it was pretty darned good!
Are the glass ones so much better?
