I got a pair of these stools when furnituremaxx had sale on buy.com. It was the same price. They look nice and function as intended, but obviously for $50 you can't expect the best. The stools are a bit wobbily where the top joins the bottom, and the seat itself is a bit thin. I def recommend it for $50 tho.

These look like the stools we purchased from bed, bath & beyond(?). They are sturdy however the seat portion is plastic (faux leather) and there is "stitching" around the edges and the cover splits at the seams and corners. (It's plastic, not material, therefore it does not "give", it separates and "cracks".) This happened on all 3 of ours.

We've had them for about 4 or so years and we do have children.

They are also available in white and red.
I have the white one in my home from last sale. They are fine for me.
Very good price for holiday gift.

I have 6 of this kind stool, two from Target (around 80 for 2), two from Amazon (50 for 2), two from furnituremaxx (50 for 2). So, far, one stool is total broken (the weld in the bottom is cracked), cannot not figure out where from. Another one is kind of squeky. Off cource, we have Teenege abuse them everyday!. It is OK for using in general use. FOr this price, you cannot expect it will last for ever unless you are old enough.

I have four of these stools and a fat family.

They don't get used often but they do the job and look nice for $50.

Got two from the last buy.com sale and they have held up fine. I use them for multi-purpose, not necessarily at a wet bar. They work great for guitar-playing chairs (no arms - the chairs, not me).

bought from Amazon and had to return them immediately. The looks are good but not the quality. Very flimsy, very light (may tip over i guess). didn't want to take chances specially due to kids. Wouldn't recommend even for this price.

If these are occassionally used, then ok i guess.
