After renting NFS: The Run and finishing it in probably 4-6 hours I'm gonna wait to see how you guys like this before I even contemplate buying another NFS game!

you must be good or play very differently than i do.
When I play I have to restart the race about 5 times because I crash or get passed at the last second. there are no 2nd places or restarts allowed when i play.
then again, i also play for the accomplishments - which i've heard is weird.

Coming from a huge fan of Burnout: Paradise, this is a very mediocre title. It's on sale now and has been since about a week after release because it doesn't have a fan base.

NFS fans hate the open world tracks that you can get lost in, Paradise fans hate the forced tracks and forced police chases. Criterion proved they have degraded to idiots by releasing such a broken hybrid.

Another reason this game is meh... rubber-band racing. If you get the lead, the AI break game physics to pass you. If you're dead last, they all slow down to let you catch up.

Garbage title for the most part.

I'm so glad I held off on buying this. I was even looking at Ebay...

I really wanted it for my Vita.

I'm so glad this deal came back. I can't wait to play it. It seems like one of those games that has high replay value for the Vita.

I'm glad someone else noticed that as well. I tried the demo and found it meh.

I hate rubberband AI and while I haven't played this yet (stupid Best Buy wouldn't ship it APO during BF sales so I had to order it to the apartment and have my wife forward it here), I can't imagine it being worse than Midnight Club LA. I ordered the Complete Edition of LA from Amazon on the cheap and it got here. Started playing it and the rubberbanding is atrocious, among the worst instances I have seen in a racing game.

Such an antiquated game play element that will hopefully die in next-gen arcade racers (but not likely)...

My brother in law bought this a week before black friday and gave up on it within a few days, I tried it before he traded it into the store for anew game and after being chased by the cops for 10 or 15 minutes I could not get away from them, and thats only an hour into the game. Its kinda pointless if you cant get away.

I like burnout on the original xbox, especially the part where you tried to create the biggest crash. I wish they would re release that on the 360.

I love need for speed before they merged with burnout, I haven't enjoyed a title from them since the first most wanted. I loved that game! I wish they would just update the graphics, give it a new city and release it that way.

What would be even better would be to give it a gps map of the states and let you race anywhere. Perhaps let some people in each state create stuff for their city that can be used in the game, and have it generate the buildings using google satellite.

Racing games in the past few years have been seeing heavy discounts pretty quickly after release.

Personally, I found the police too easy. It's basically impossible once you get your wanted level all the way up, but I constantly had to let them catch up on all the earlier wanted levels.
