The M4 SSDs have an issue if you plan on using this as the drive for operating systems. There is some glitch where if you turn the computer off a certain way, the SSD thinks there is a power failure and locks up so when you try to start the computer again the BIOs doesn't see it. So far, Crucial has released new firmware but it cannot be used with UEFI systems (my Dell is and I haven't been able to use the new O4MH firmware).

From what I read there, it's the firmware "update tool" that can't be used with UEFI bios, not the firmware version itself. I guess that means updating it on another system.

I believe some states have Tigersdirect, some have Circuit City instead. So if you go on one of them and they want tax in your state, try the other store. They share inventory so essentially same entity. Their site even looks similar too, so shouldn't be that confusing.
