REALLY cool droid. I picked one up at a garage sale last year and had a blast with it. Functionality is really pretty sophisticated for something at that price range.

This is a pretty cool toy. We bought this for our older son about 5 years ago from Sharper Image.
He has had lots of fun with it. A few things to note. R2 can get a little buggy at times and not respond. The speech recognition technology is no 'Perfect'. But it is a durable toy that will provide hours of fun for the star wars fan, child or adult.
At $99 this is a great purchase. Repped OP

After 5 years, you would hope they would improve the artificial intelligence on the toy but at $99 +tax, I’m getting it for the kids… They’ll love it.

We bought this for my 6 year old - it would not recognize his instructions. His voice was too high pitched - it would only work for the men in my family.

Hopefully, they have made the voice recognition better.
