I have some harsh words about people who have issues with true motion type effects. I have Optoma pj that has puremotion feature and 120hz.... i can't watch a movie wihout it. I f8cking hate anyhing less that smooth motion. There's nothing unnatural about it, ''soap opera effect'' is a retarded name for it, might as well call real world soap opera... there's just no loathsome judder associated with 24hz/60hz movies, movies like Transformers are actually watchable now, all those high-detail, fast motion scenes... . I tried turning it off, but I can't watch it jerking no more, irritates the bejess out of me. Do if you enjoy watching movies when the picture turns into a mess whenever there's little motion, his tv is not for you, probably.

Thanks, I figured people either love it or hate it... I remember when "hardcore gamers" complained about slow refresh rate of LCD's and preferred CRT's for that reason... similar idea here I guess.
