edit: To answer my own question, it does not fit ipad 2 since there is no opening for back camera.

Never hurts to bring it up. Otherwise, these cases seem pretty useless (The IPad 1 was sorely lacking in the basis, as a new product on the street and I doubt anyone is still using one now )
