Well it's probably only loud when it's working hard. Do you really mind a little noise when your speakers are making shooting/exploding sounds?

It really is a good deal. But I'm unsure if it'll be cheaper in another 6 weeks. Are there rebates that run in February or are they all now because of the holidays?

I will probably bite this one if the galaxy deal from TD fails me (with the verification process).

Bought one, too good of a deal to pass up. I'm essentially paying $240 for a high end card after rebate and selling the games at a conservative $20 each,

Why do you say that they might be cheaper in another 6 weeks? I am really debating purchasing this, as my GTX 460 is starting to get a little behind. I can wait another 6 weeks if I can get it for cheaper though.

No I wouldn't say they are gonna, I'm just saying I'm not gonna be able to use the card for 6 weeks because I'm going out of town. Wondering if I should get it now or wait and see what's available in 6 weeks.

But I just bought it because it won't be processed until the 26th so I have time to decide and cancel if I need. I'm in CA so I gotta pay tax unfortunately. Makes it $303 after rebate. The games will yield maybe $30 total making the card $273. Still very good, but could be better in 6 weeks? I dunno...

Any major difference between this card and the Galaxy card from TigerDirect from a couple of days ago? Also anybody have experience cancelling an order with TD? Their customer service is shut down until Wednesday morning.

TD customer service is horrible. I wanted to cancel an order and sent a message on every single email channel they had. I also called the next morning as soon as they opened. They rejected when I called by saying 'our systems are automated and very fast' but then I forced them to cancel because I told them I ordered with an AmEx card and I sent a dozen emails because they were closed when I ordered and wanted to cancel soon after.

You can do it, but you gotta get to it ASAP. They're probably closed tomorrow and you can get a hold of them on the 26th. Even Newegg doesn't process orders tomorrow so I wouldn't expect TD to do so either. They also ship via UPS > USPS meaning that USPS does the final delivery so no sig required and you can't reject the package.

Good luck, TD are very much scammers. Like buying something at a crooked flea market...cheap, but all sales final

That's what I was afraid to hear. The only PayPal dispute I've ever had to go through was with Tiger Direct, and PayPal took care of me. I've been watching 670 prices for weeks now, and the TD deal looked like it was as good as it was going to get. This deal is $25 cheaper and from a seller that I enjoy purchasing from. I just don't know if I should buy this card and assume that I can cancel the other order or not.
