Thanks ordered one. What's the lowest price on SD for this one ? Could have got lower by end of winter, but what's the point. Hopefully will work fine in 32 degree NJ weather.

Looks like it hit $70 for the red jacket in March 2011 and the red/black version went for $76 with in-store REI pickup last September. Otherwise, this is as good as it's been.

It's a good price and good quality. I'm on my 3rd one (keep losing weight). It is my favorite travel jacket.

However, this is not the warmest jacket available. It is a soft shell so it is light weight. I can wear a thin/med weight fleece under mine as needed.

It is a decent spring ski jacket, fair at blocking wind. Like I say, I use mine for travel and with jeans. But it wouldn't be be my first choice in freezing weather just watching a football game or something like that.

Just an FYI, I picked up the new heather color a couple weeks back as an early Christmas gift to myself. Love the new color, but haven't seen discounted yet.
