If you are going to do TDMVP73's money maker below and are worried about the "one rebate per product per year" in the AVG rebate, you can replace AVG with SmithMicro Poser http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6832269055. This is also a Parago rebate, so it should be pretty safe.

Two questions:
1. I have done rebate for the same product (e.g., AVG antivirus) from another retailer, can I do this again? I know McAfee is very strict.
2. If you use promotion or discount code, will they honor the full price or the price you pay?

1. You shouldn't have any issues with the AVG Rebate as long as it's a different Offer #. Same thing goes for the other ones I listed in the $20 MM deal scenario.
2. If you use the promotion or discount code, I doubt they will alter your rebate price. Newegg promotion codes come off at the very end of the Invoice... they don't modify the individual item prices.... so it shouldn't be an issue.

The rebates are fulfilled by Parago, a major rebate processor, so you shouldn't have any issues getting it as long you fill everything out properly.
As for the software itself, I haven't heard anything bad about it. It's supposed to have a new metro-like interface and a new AV engine that improves scan time significantly.
PC Mag gave the 2012 version a 2.5 out of 5 (Fair) rating:

the same is true for security software i guess
Christmas day. weird comments. yeah i know
And you wonder why I quadruple condom wrap my shit.
As I said to mirai, I wouldn't put half of this stuff on my PC. I may drop it like it's hot on Craigslist or something.
Basically you make $18.20 after postage + 2% Cashback (1% FW + 1% Discover) = $21.80
That equates to a 12.1% ROI.
Better than putting your money in the bank. Even if it takes 3 months to get your rebates, you still got paid 4% interest per month.
