Best game I've played this year, by a wide margin. It's got superb writing and an amazing cast of characters.
This is an incredible bargain for 800 MS points. The first episode is free this week, and today only, episodes two through five are 200 MS points each. Regular price is 400 MS points per episode or 2000 total.
The entire game is comprised of multiple episodes, so you'll need to download all five of them. Confusingly, the download for the first episode is titled "Full game - The Walking Dead." You need to download this one first, but also episodes two through five separately.
This is the preferred version to play on Xbox 360 because the retail disc version has technical issues (can't be installed to hard drive, disc streaming problems, etc).

point-and-clickadventure game, with some quick time events. i always thought it was a shooter like most of the other zombie gamesalso it is not based on TV or comic though some characters do appear in the game.

This is a great deal tho. TU. If I didn't already have it on Steam I'd buy it for sure.
An adventure game winning Game of the Year from various sources? That really says something about the quality of this game.
If any of you have not watched the show yet or are planning on catching up, you're in for a treat. The hype is true...great show, amazing suspense and well executed for all ppl who may or may not be fans of the zombie genre.
If you're going through the show for the first time, be sure to also queue up episodes of the Talking Dead for each ep. This show is about half an hr of discussion of each ep as you've watched it and hosted by Chris Hardwick. I call him the Ryan Seacrest for nerds. He's pretty funny and usually has a writer or actor from each episode as guests to chime in on key elements of the episode you just finished.
I also love how they have the same format for the video game and it's called Playing Dead. amazing. Mind...blown. I don't think it's hosted by Chris Hardwick, which is too bad, but plenty of content for those of the whole franchise. Well done!
