I never got into the Knicks because they were horrible when I started paying attention to basketball. I rooted for the Nets for a while when I first got into it, but then they were horrible too. The seemingly humbleness of Duncan/Parker/Ginobli drew me to the Spurs, and Wade's comeback in 2006 to the Heat.

Yes, the knicks and the Nets have been horrible, But what about your Mets? Maybe you should've followed the SF Giants, but then they have a history of steroids and HGH, staring from Bonds to Melky. but hey they did win the WS, like the Redesox and Papi and Manny, both cheaters in the '04 and '07 WS.

I started watching baseball around 1998. That Yankee team was simply amazing to watch. Then Scott Brosius and Paul O'Neil retired, Tino and Knoblauch got traded, Bernie Williams eventually retired. Jason Giambi joined.

Didn't feel like the same team. I joined the Mets and have been in misery ever since. :-) I'm not old enough to root for the SF Giants with any real meaning.
