in for none. good price though. not impressed with any of the steelseries headsets that i've tried, but they make good cheap corded mice.

In for one, great price despite the average reviews on Amazon; I will be using it on my PC.

I need a good wireless set... any hints?

Yeah, I was just about to post that. At least 3 people said the right earpiece started to short out after 1-3 months of use. :/ I'm really in need of a decent headset... The xbox ones break so easily and require me to talk loudly to be heard

1saleaday sucks my baseballs. I bought the wireless Logitech headset on 11/27 from one of SD threads and I am still waiting for it. It says that it "shipped" on 12/14 and it wont be to me in NY until 1/5/13.

Garbage.

I have the first generation of 360 that has HDMI. I use the HDMI to connect to my TV. Can I use this with the HDMI?

They bought the shipping on the 14th, didn't ship until yesterday. Considering weekends and the fact the UPS observes New Year's Eve and Day, only 4 weekdays for shipping from Florida to New York is pretty average. But them taking an entire month to ship is bad.

This is worth it just for the mixer. It works with any headset with two standard 3.5mm jacks. When this one dies, just swap in another cheap headset.

We also have the Turtle Beach X12, which has a similar mixer setup but it's wired into the headset cord. Can't re-use that one when the headset dies.

Note: if you want to use these mixers and use HDMI output from your XBox to the display, then you'll need a 360 audio adapter cable. This lets you plug into the analog audio outputs and use the HDMI output. You can cut up the standard cables to do the same thing, but the adapters are less than $5. I got one from monoprice.com. I've always wanted to get a headset for my PC and never had one before. Is this a good starter? I'm not in a huge rush so the long shipping time doesn't bother me too much.

From the reading that I have done, you will need the audio adapter. It looks like the a/v cable, but just has audio ports. Don't know if you can use the audio on the original one or not.

Could these just be used as a regular pair of headphones on a Mac? I'd like to get a cheap pair for my wife that could just be plugged into the headphone jack and used for music, the occasional game, etc.

Don't know if ben's outlet is legit but just to compare prices they have them for 34.99 free shipping, so this is a good deal but i wouldn't say hot.
