Maybe so, but it's also helpful when others state past prices so we can better gauge this deal. Disparaging his posting is less than helpful.

so are you guys saying there is another extended 3d version of this out there?

crazy as it sounds.. i have yet to see this movie because i wanted to experience in 3d..

You're right. You reminded me that there was no free shipping, but I ordered a few other BDs and the total shipping for the order was in the $2-$3 range.

High probability because most studios can't resist double, triple, quadruple dips because they're greedy, and when they release a less than ideal version (like the theatrical 2D, extended 2D, and theatrical 3D) we know it's on purpose because what they should've done is release a 2D + 3D with seemless branching for both the theatrical and extended cuts the first time around. The fact they didn't shows greed and planned multi-dipping. I'd be deeply shocked if we don't see an extended 3D. The question is how intense their greed will be... will they do an extended 3D by itself and later follow with the seemless branching 2D + 3D for a quintuple-dip or go straight to the latter for only a quadruple dip?

This is just the "Theatrical Version" and NOT the "Extended Version" FYI. There is an Extended 2D set out there, but the Extended 3D version has not been released yet.

If anyone has the original theatrical 2d release.. looks like amazon is currently offering $10 trade in for it.
