This is NOT a great deal. It's just fair. Amazon has had this drive for $159.99 for 2 weeks straight recently, so this is only another $10 off, but buy.com has tax here. So no deal.

Anyone know the easiest way to make this work with a 2011 iMac? Should I install it in place of the internal drive or buy a thunderbolt enclosure?

How easy is it to replace my laptop HD wth this unit. Will a backup to external drive be sufficient to do the swap?
