Burn-in stopped being an issue back when George W. Bush was still president.
There is image retention, but IR is basically ”temporary burn-in” which goes away after a few minutes.
So you couldn't be more wrong.
Nice try though
When properly adjusted, there is nothing wrong with the picture on one of these. I guess if someone expects the sharpening artifacts, motion blur, neon/fluorescent look, and artifacts from contrast boosting schemes then the more natural picture offered by a well-adjusted plasma might seem disappointing.
In short, has four years of tech made an $800 60in have better PQ than a $2,000 46in from 2008?

higher end plasmas beat lcd but this is a more budget model. it's an excellent value, but for someone with the cash to replace such an expensive set for picture quality, it makes more sense to invest in a more premium panasonic plasma than to get a budget set

The only thing I didn't mention is that I don're ally "have the cash to replace such an expensive set." On that note, I'm honestly not even in the market for a TV. But if I *were* to make an impulse buy (
