Well they let me down quite a bit with Assassin's Creed 3, which is now my least favorite in the series. But where I have seen other people as disappointed as I was with AC3, I have not seen too many negative things about this game at all. About the only thing I have read is that one of the ending choices was really dumb. If that is the worst thing I have to worry about, then I should have a great time with it. It is supposed to be a marked improvement over FC2 as well.

this game makes my PC cry at 2560x1440 on a single 560ti. Now I have to go out and buy another card. -_-

This game is amazing. Combination of sandbox and scripted shooter. You have a main mission, but you can actually explore the islands at any time. I liken it to Stalker a bit. Not for the atmosphere itself, but it makes you feel like you are going it alone. Nice sense of desolation.

Excellent open-world FPS.

Although I still prefer S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat (a somewhat similar game that Far Cry 3 seems to have lifted much inspiration from), as my favorite FPS of all time. If you like this game, you really should check out S.T.A.L.K.E.R., as it only costs a couple dollars, and is well worth the money and playtime.
