Playstation Plus 12-Month Subscription + Bonus 3-Months $50 (expired)

That would be a good deal. Could get it for under $3 month if you buy a discounted 1 year card. Can anyone confirm this would work?

Is the sony unlimited music service still $12 year for PSN+ members?

I literally just bought PS+ last night and the promotion didn't apply I guess that was because the promotion wasn't live yet. I am sending them an email to see if they will follow up.

$50 is retail value for a year but here you are getting 3 additional months too. Honestly though, I think PSN Plus is worth it just for the free games alone but on top of that you get discounts every month on new games, you have the cloud storage system, Auto-Updates/Trophy Syncs, and the sony unlimited music deal.

Considering you just got a ps3, it might be a good investment because if you get PSN Plus, you get 6 or 7 free games right from the start so that saves you from having to spend money unless you REALLY want a game out there.

This is a great deal, and I may jump on it. Every time a Playstation Plus deal comes up, there will be fifty questions about what you can and cannot do, so here's my 2 cents on the most often asked:

For the FREE games, they rotate in and out. So, even if you don't ever play them or download, at least purchase for free when available, and they will be available for download at a later time even if they rotate out of availability for free.

You get to download/play any FREE games on Plus as long as you maintain your subscription. If your subscription stops, you lose access only to the FREE games you purchased. If several months later you start up your subscription again, the games are made available again that you already purchased.

The best part are the discounts. If you purchase a discounted game (some of the Plus games are 75% off at times), you get to keep those FOREVER, regardless of if you keep a subscription.

I think that covers the 3 questions I see asked most times.

I think it does work, I activated my 1 year around 8 PM PST before this thread was created and I checked one of my game downloads and it says it expires 4/27/2014 so that's an extra 3 months from what I got.

Thanks. I got in on the Target price mistake where they had the 1 year cards for $15. I was saving my other card for a time like this so I could get the extra 3 months.

Sony CC has a promotion that ends Jan 31 were you redeem 5000 points and then you receive 5000 points 7-10 days after the promo ends. The points have to be used by Mar 31 but if I'm correct then you could get 2 years worth of playstation plus and a $10 playstation network card for $60 which comes to $2.50 /month. The plus gift card is 4999 (how convenient) and the cheap filler was the $10 playstation card (1000 points). I didn't actually checkout but I got to the end and it didn't look like there were any taxes or shipping charges. I know that there are other things that can be purchased with the points but for those who like the plus this might be something to look into. I've never had the plus but may consider it. My points just sit there because i have no idea what to buy since I can usually find things cheaper elsewhere.
