I don't know if most Russians are bad/reckless drivers, but it sure looks it from the vids!

More to the subject, what's the minimum speed you need for a decent dash cam? Class 10?

Class 4 should be good for 480p dash cams, but after that incident money is not a problem for me anymore. Some things are worth more than money, my car was sentimental. So I'll just get the 32gb class 10 for $20 in slickdeals.

But yeah man, if you had that dash cam you wouldn't have to worry about who's fault.

But then again all insurance companies are corrupted and evil out to steal every penny in your pocket anyway. Even if you had that camera and even if it did show that you honked. They gonna claim you were tailgating or too close to the car in front of you. But I'll my buy own insurance...I mean...my dash cam is my own insurance Wink

Average dash cams are $50, good one's are $150, very good ones are $300. $300 + $20 for a 32gb card I would say $320 investment on a dash cam for a lifetime is good insurance for me.

I believe it the same issue I've been thru with this type of cards. It works OK when you first format it, then a few days later your phone will not recognize the card. I found myself taking the card out put it on the SD-Card converter and even like that is not recognize by computer as it will ask for the card to be formatted.
If you get one, do not save critical files to it or you will lose it.

IMHO class 4 it's too slow for 16Gb, will take about an hour to transfer full capacity data to the computer. Also my Canon full-HD camcorder wants class 6 or higher, when shooting at 30Mbps stream. I'll pass on that one.

the reviews on newegg are pretty bad. it has 4 stars, but most of the high ratings are simply "it's works" or "works great" without mentioning what they used it on and how much they use it. the detailed reviews mention that it's way slower than other class 4 cards and that it doesn't work well in cell phones. i was going to use this in my galaxy s2, but i'm going to have to turn down this great deal. I NEED A BIGGER CARD damnit
