I also noticed this Onkyo receiver [bestbuy.com] shows up as $139.99 when you search, but goes back to $279.99 in the cart.

I just called 5 min ago and told them i added this to my cart for $149 but when i went to check out it went to $399. I gave her the SKU and a very nice lady helped me and she changed the price to $149 and took my order over the phone and gave me a confirmation number.

Did you explain the situation because at first she said yeah its 400 but I explained that the item was on sale and has a glitch during the checkout process. It took her like 2 minutes but she saw the mistake, I may call back if I were you. I spent alot of my early days on the phone and know how to sweeten the load... try again, its worth it.

It's not showing up anywhere at $149.99 now. I'd say the chances are slim of getting CS to do anything.

What number did you call and what options did you pick? I tried a 2nd time and was denied again by yet another clueless employee after another long wait. They know nothing about it. Who is your magic representative or are you just making up stuff? I can't imagine Worst Buy will change the price back to $149.99.

Yes, I explained it well, and it didn't matter. The rep said if she can't see the $149.99 at that precise moment, she can't give me the deal. I don't know how the rest of you are getting the deal still.
